2. Direct object – is a noun or pronoun in the predicate that receives the action of the verb. It answers the question what? Or whom?
Ex.
Mike found a book about dinosaurs.
What did Mike find? A book

4. Past Tense- shows action that has already happened. Most past tense verbs end in ed.

19. Past Progressive – is the form of the verb that describes an action that was happening sometime in the past.

21. The present perfect tense of a verb tells about an action that happened in the past. It also tells about an action that began in the past and is STILL happening.
