Al-Utheina insisted thatMinistry of Foreign Affairs has tofollow up the case with the Saudiauthorities through the KuwaitiEmbassy in Saudi Arabia and fig-
ure out if he is still alive or haddied in the stampede in Mina,affirming that Kuwait has neverand will never desert its citizensoutside the country.
Meanwhile, sources explainedthat Al-Failakawi’s family has notreceived any news about his where-abouts. They are coordinating with
the Saudi authorities to launch anew search plan by publishingdetails of the missing person onsocial media so that the informationwill reach as many people as possi-ble and there are higher chances offinding him or at least receivingclues leading to his whereabouts.

Kuwait’s participation in thisinternational event is primarilyintended to deliver its cultural andhumanitarian message to theworld, the minister said in an inter-view to KUNA before leavingItaly late Thursday.
During his stay here, the Kuwaitiminister represented His Highness thePrime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah inKuwait’s National Day celebration inthe country’s pavilion at Expo Milan2015 on Wednesday held under thebanner “Feeding the Planet, Energyfor Life”.
The celebration was attended by theItalian Prime Minister’sRepresentative, Undersecretary ofJustice Ministry Cosimo Ferri, a num-ber of senior Italian officials, includ-ing Milan Mayor Giuliano Pisapia,and representatives of the countriestaking part in the Expo.
Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah quot-ed Italian officials, countries’ repre-sentatives and pavilion managers ashaving lauded the Kuwaiti Pavilion’sdistinguished and successful presencein the Expo Milan 2015.
Marked by proper organization,management, amazing designs andeye-catching exhibits, the Kuwaitipavilion has attracted as many as 1.3million visitors so far, the cabinet min-ister boasted.
“This success springs fromKuwaitis’ loyalty to and appreciationfor their deep humanitarian values,which are reflected in the humanitari-an realm, as Kuwait always wastes notime to lend a hand to the needy withno purpose or discrimination,” he said.
The Kuwaiti presence in the inter-national event reflected the Kuwaitipeople’s sincere desire for opening upand communication with, and amitytowards, people across the world,Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah pointedout.
Success“This success should lead to more
successes in all domains,” he said, cit-ing it as a sign of the Kuwaiti people’sability to give more and more.
He attributed Kuwait’s great inter-national position to the fact that HisHighness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the“Humanitarian Leader and Dean of theWorld Diplomacy”, is a model for tol-erance, brotherhood and support forthe oppressed and defenseless people.
The success of the Kuwaiti Pavilionhas crowned great media efforts andplanning involving all ministries andstate bodies, the minister added.
Kuwait’s successes at both regionaland international levels are the out-growth of its wise policy and farsight-edness under the leadership of HisHighness the Amir, His Highness theCrown Prince and His Highness thePrime Minister, he noted.
The Kuwaiti pavilion at the ExpoMilan 2015 attracted large number ofvisitors who admired the country’stransition from life in desert to a mod-ern society.
The pavilion contains different sci-entific, cultural and artistic activitiesaiming to showcase history and cul-ture of the State of Kuwait.
Expo Milan 2015 is a major interna-tional exhibition that has been heldevery five years since the 19th century.Covering 272 acres, it expects an esti-mated 29 million visitors from May1st-October 31st 2015.
Over 140 participating countries areshowcasing the best of their technolo-gy, which will offer answers to ques-tions revolving around health, safetyand better food nourishment.

‘EPA keen to apply law to put an end toviolations against marine environment’KUWAIT CITY, Oct 2: Directorof Environment PublicAuthority (EPA) SheikhAbdullah Al-Ahmad hasaffirmed that EPA will notexempt any authority fromremoving their violationsagainst the marine environment,reports Al-Anba daily.
In a press statement, hestressed the keenness of EPA toapply the law in order to put anend to violations against theKuwaiti environment particular-ly the marine and coastal envi-ronment, adding that it will takestrict action against any govern-ment or private authority orindividuals if they commit vio-
lations against the marine envi-ronment.
Sheikh Abdullah affirmedthat the Kuwait’s coastal envi-ronment is one of the main sec-tors that require follow-up, dueto which inspection teams willbe formed to monitor any viola-tion committed against it andtake necessary legal proceduresin this regard such as referringthe case to the PublicProsecution.
He revealed that EPA, duringits latest campaign, referred tothe Public Prosecution 29 casesof environmental violationscommitted by a number of publicand private authorities.
Meanwhile, Deputy Directorof EPA Eng Mohammad Al-Enezi announced that the nation-al committee which is investigat-ing the fish death case has issueda decision to ban fishing activi-ties in Kuwaiti bay area until fur-ther notice.
He explained that the decisionwas taken following recent dis-cussions over the current situa-tion of the bay waters. Fishing asa hobby will be allowed in thebay area but commercial fishingwill be banned in order to main-tain the fish resource of the coun-try.

Kuwaiti envoy opens cultural center in Albania
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Albania Najib Al-Bader opened, on Friday, a cultural centerin the northern city of Tropoje, Albania, todevelop the country’s educational infra-structure.
The cultural center is funded by theKuwaiti Cabinet and it offers various edu-cational and cultural courses in the fields ofcomputer sciences and foreign languages.
The Kuwaiti envoy pointed out that build-ing this project reflects deep bilateral tiesand promotes cultural exchange betweenthe two countries.

Kuwaiti-funded charitable complexfor Syrian refugees opens in JordanMAFRAQ, Jordan, Oct 2, (KUNA): AKuwaiti-funded charitable developmentcomplex containing a school, an orphanageand a mosque for Syrian refugees was inau-gurated earlier Thursday.
The complex was established on an areaof 6500 square meters and its cost reachedUSD one million.
The inauguration ceremony was attendedby Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan DrHamad Al-Duaij and a number of donorsand officials of Kuwait’s charities as well assome specialists in the area of humanitarianand charitable work.
On his part, Dr Suleiman Al-Shatti,chairman of Kuwaiti NGO, Bunyan socie-ty, said in a joint statement to KUNA andKuwaiti TV that the society adopted theidea of project which was financed by
Kuwaiti charitable organizations and phi-lanthropists.
He underlined the importance of Kuwaitidonation in establishing this charitable proj-ect, noting that the society has carried out sofar about 108 charitable campaigns since theoutbreak of Syrian crisis.

Subsequent to the discovery of weapons andequipment for making bombs in Bahrain-andwith several facts pointing to involvement ofthe Embassy of Iran in Manama in plottingagainst Bahrain, it is hard to imagine someonesaying ‘good relations with Iran is still possi-ble’. If that ever happens, GCC countrieswould be overlooking the danger Iran poses,because she exempts no country in the region,including Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain or UAE, andthe grand prize will be the Kingdom of SaudiArabia.
Recent threats and intimidation by Iran’ssupreme spiritual leader Ali Khameinei isclear indication of Iran’s hostility towardthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is aclear declaration of war. It is time for theGulf Cooperation Council, and most of allSaudi Arabia, to listen attentively to themasses who are calling for a momentous
decision; disciplinary decision of cutting allties with Iran-diplomatic, commercial andeconomic.
By this decision, there will be no more of itsembassies in GCC capitals to operate spy ringsor brew terrorism, chaos and sectarian and eth-nic sedition. In fact, the Gulf countries need toadopt ‘tit for tat’ politics by aiding the AwazArab resistance that strives for independencein one of the richest lands occupied by Iransince the early years of last century when Iran‘’persianized’’ the area to erase the Arab iden-tity. Indeed, GCC countries have lots of strongcards in hand that can be used in the combatagainst the Iranian evil, coupled with strongdecisive coalition that demonstrates determi-nation and commitment to face the evil neigh-bor.
The ‘’decisive storm’’ coalition is the basisupon which Arab-Islamic political, militaryand economic coalition can be built to combatthe Persian politics of conspiracy, expansionand backstabbing.
