Our prayer is it brings peace to those hurting in our community as a meaningful part of the holiday season. If you plan to attend, contact Denning's Strathroy at [email protected] or call 519-245-1023.

Food for Thought ...
● As Flu season approaches, please consider getting
immunized against the flu. If you do become unwell,
please stay home and take care of yourself.
● At the sign of peace please be careful when shaking
someone’s hand, for some folks with arthritis or with
eczema, a firm grip can be painful.
● Some folks are very sensitive to scented products,
such as cologne or perfume, so please try to
refrain from wearing them when in large
groups i.e. at Mass or other parish functions.
News from Sacred Heart & St. Charles Garnier ...
Pope Francis Fund for the Poor
On the third World Day of the Poor, Bishop Fabbro announced
the Pope Francis Fund for the Poor. On behalf of all the
faithful of the Diocese, His Excellency has committed one
million dollars which will be invested in an endowment
fund. Proceeds earned will be given annually to agencies that
directly serve the needs of people who are
underprivileged. The endowment will be a continuing source
of assistance for those in need, as well as a reminder that we
are truly missionary disciples of Christ. Bishop Fabbro invites
each of us to join in this collective effort by making a donation
to the Pope Francis Fund for the Poor online at www.dol.ca or
by offering a cheque marked “Pope Francis Fund” in our
collection basket.
Mass for the Unborn will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at St. Peter's Cathedral Basialica, beginning with the Rosary/Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 7:00 pm and followed by Mass at 7:30 pm. Bishop Ronald Fabbro will preside. This special celebration is sponsored by the Catholic Women's League and the Knights of Columbus. Everyone is welcome to attend.
