“Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!” Luke 1:28 Faith is a gift from God. Take time in silence and thank God for all the gifts He has given you. Try to set aside any anger or resentment you have and really open your heart to receive the gift of God’s mercy and forgiveness. We can’t give Stewardship, if we don’t live it. We need to receive God’s mercy and forgiveness first before we can give it to others.

24 Hours A Day—7 Days a Week Christmas Eve, is the long-awaited fulfillment of God’s covenant, the Birth of Jesus, His only Son, our Savior, our Redeemer. He has become Man for us. What a Gift! There is not another gift like this one. This Christmas Eve, let our hearts and minds turn to Mary and Joseph and the new born Baby, the Son of God. Let us be like the shepherds and come in awe before this Holy Baby, before our God. God gave us His greatest gift, Himself. We can give Him ourselves in return.

Dear Parishioners,
The lighting of the 4th candle of the Advent wreath gives witness to the nearness of His coming. A singular moment of divine intervention in the saga of humankind framed by the resounding YES to the mysterious will of God uttered by Mary and Joseph so very long ago. Amid throngs of fellow pilgrim travelers, Mary and Joseph are enroute to the town of Bethlehem, “City of Bread”, the ancestral home of King David, from whose family line both Mary and Joseph were descended. They would be directed to a stable: an adequate shelter from the cold, a humble delivery room, an earthy stage rising from the night shadows to embrace the twinkling lights of an expectant sky. We, too, have been awaiting this event throughout Advent. May our willingness to see “joy” around us occupy these busy and productive final days before Christmas. Above all else, may we be open to receiving Christ in the person of others. I warmly invite you, your family and loved ones to celebrate the joy of Christmas by attending the Mass of your choice, either on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Masses on the Eve are 4:00pm focusing on the message for Families; Blessing of the Tree and Nativity Creche at 6:15pm followed by Mass at 6:30pm. The Solemn Mass at 11:00pm (no longer at midnight!) will be preceded by the Choir, Organ and Brass Concert beginning at 10:20pm. The Christmas Morning Masses are celebrated at 8:00am and 10am only. Encourage house guests, students home for the holidays, out of town friends, non-Catholic spouses and acquaintances with no specific church affiliation at this time, to join you at Holy Mass to share in the spiritual blessings offered to “people of good will everywhere.” I am most grateful to you for your faithful stewardship of time, talent and treasure. Traditionally, the Christmas Collection is the largest of the year and our parish is counting on
