• Our client Jade and our client’s client Stewart,
owner of a multinational brewing and
beverage company, are school buddies.
• One day while playing golf, Stewart discussed
his challenges to efficiently manage
warehouses where stock counting and stock
checking were largely executed manually
using pen, paper and MS excel.
• So Jade gave Stewart the idea to get a
mobile app developed for counting pallets
and cases in the bin with a basic interface
with limited functionality.

Key features of the mobile app
• The app works online and offline
• Collected data can be synched offline
• If there is any discrepancy in the count, the app
notifies which pallet needs to be recounted
• The job is marked in red if there is any variance in the
count
• Different colours notify different stages of the process
• The device may be assigned multiple warehouses, but
which warehouse the collector has to go is assigned in
the mobile app
• Once the collector starts his job, the status of the job
changes to in-progress
