ADJUDICATORS:
The adjudicating teams consist of teachers and professional artists. Auditions are private.
PREPARATON FOR STRINGS AUDITION
Candidates will be shown to a practice room by a student volunteer where they may warm up. The student volunteer

Candidates will also be asked to sight read and do ear training.
For For grade 9, String candidates are required to have previous experience playing the violin, viola, cello or bass and be
performing at a minimum of RCM grade 2. If you do not play a string instrument you may audition on piano or guitar, but

four, they may audition on another instrument (e.g. piano, guitar) to demonstrate their musical ability. If this is the case
