APPOINTMENT DECISION TO D-1 POST

The Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has the honour to

announce the following appointment:

Mr. Valentin N. Mbarga (Cameroon) to the post of Deputy Director, Languages and Publications,

Bureau of Administration and Services

(ref. Vacancy Notice 2013/42/P 104235)

Mr. Mbarga has been serving as Director, Division of Conference and Document Services (D-1), at the

International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, since January 2010. Prior to this, he served with various international

organizations in positions of increasing responsibility, including as Director, Corporate Language Services at the

African Development Bank, Senior Interpreter and Reviser with the International Monetary Fund, and as Interpreter at

the ACP Group Secretariat in Brussels. Mr. Mbarga is fluent in English, French and Spanish. He holds a PhD in

Conference Interpretation and Translation, and Masters and Bachelors degrees in Bilingual Literary Studies.
