The  Book  of  Luke

Who  Wrote  it  ?  The  author  as  suggested  by  its  0tle  was  a  doctor  by  the  name  of  Luke.  He  was  a  companion  of  the  Apostle  Paul  on  his  missionary  trips.

Who  was  it  wri3en  to  and  why?  The  book  was  wri>en  as  2  sec0ons.  the  first  is  the  book  of  Luke  and  the  second  is  the  book  of  Acts.    It  was  addressed  to  a  man  named  Theophilus  who  seems  to  be  a  prominent  figure  in  society.

Luke  wrote  this  book  so  that  people  would  be  able  to  understand  more  of  Jesus  and  grow  stronger  in  their  faith

Don't  Worry!!  "And  don't  be  concerned  about  what  to  eat  and  what  to  drink.  Don't  worry  about  such  things.  These  things  dominate  the  thoughts  of  unbelievers  all  over  the  world,  but  your  father  already  knows  your  needs.  Seek  the  Kingdom  of  God  above  all  else,  and  he  will  give  you  everything  you  need."  Luke  12:29-‐31
