People, Products & ServicesTHE IRWIN DIFFERENCE
For more than 100 years, Irwin Seating Company’s sole focus has been on meeting our customers’ needs for public seating solutions. We achieve this through innovative, thoughtful design, by manufacturing the industry’s most durable products, and by providing un-matched service before, during, and after the installation of a project. Everyone at Irwin Seating Company is focused on quality and customer satisfaction. This commitment is what the Irwin Difference is all about and why Irwin Seating is the world’s leading supplier of spectator seating solutions.
We understand the delicate balance between form and function. Our experience and expertise allows us to offer unique custom “specials” and value en-gineered solutions to fit the design criteria and budget for almost any project.
We start by listening to the design team to gain an understanding of the project’s unique needs. We can provide design consultation for seating layout, sight line studies and recom-mendations for ADA compliance to insure an unencumbered experience by all. TELESCOPIC PLATFORMSOur telescopic nose mount chairs
have always offered unparalleled
comfort and design continuity
between the fixed seating and tele-
scopic seating. The Prestige system
is available with our most popular
backs and seats like the No. 91
Millennium back pictured here.
The new Prestige Series is designed
to assist the operations staff with
the industry’s first semi-automated
nose mount chair system! This
unique design incorporates a spring
assist system that aids in raising the
backs, while dampening the folding
motion. Simply activate the chair
release mechanism and the backs
automatically fold to the stored posi-
tion. This innovative, patent pending
design greatly reduces set-up and
take-down times, while placing less
physical stress on the crew.
Telescopic platform seating continues to be utilized
in more venues and in more applications than ever
before. At Irwin Seating Company, we remain
committed to the markets we serve by develop-
ing new and innovative telescopic seating
solutions to meet the ever-changing needs
of our customers. We do this by truly
embracing the “voice of the customer”
process.
This commitment and dedication
has led us to our latest product
developments which include
two new seating options; the
Prestige Series and Integra
chair lines. Each has their
own set of unique features
and benefits that are sure
to stand out from the
crowd! We’ve also added
further enhancements
to our telescopic under-
structure systems, and
designed the new IDS
power system to ensure
smooth, dependable
operation.
The next several pages
showcase these and
many other innovative
solutions we offer, and
how you too can experi-
ence the Irwin Difference!
PRESTIGE SERIES NOSE MOUNT SEATINGLike the Nose Mount system, the
Prestige Series Forward Fold chair
incorporates the same host of fea-
tures and benefits into its design,
while allowing the entire chair to
fold in a more traditional means for
storage. Prestige Forward Fold is
available on telescopic units with a
14” or greater row rise.
The Stackable Riser System or SRS
(shown below) features the same
forward fold chair design in a low-
rise, non-telescopic system. SRS units
are typically used in facilities per-
forming “changeovers” from hockey
to basketball. Units are placed in
front of the dasher boards to pro-
vide premium seating at court level.
Once the permanently attached
chairs are folded, a forklift is used to
stack the units and transport them
to a storage area.

Wall Attached Units
Wall attached or recessed sections
are the backbone of telescopic seat-
ing and used in most every configu-
ration and available in either rectan-
gular or tapered sections.
Spanner Decks
Lift-out spanner decks are located
in the entrance areas of an arena
and connect the precast or fixed
platform units providing additional
spectator seating. This spanner deck
is shown with built-in forklift tubes.
Elephant Doors
Hydraulically operated elephant
doors are another option for
entrance areas and allow greater
clearance for moving large objects
into the arena, while also providing
additional seating when in the low-
ered position.
Portable Towers
Portable or rolling towers are used
when the section design and shape
exceeds the limitations of a telescop-
ic unit, or when a tunnel is required.
These are commonly used for player
entrances.
Portable Units
Portable sections play a vital role
in creating the flexibility needed to
reconfigure the seating for differ-
ent types of events. Portable units
can be designed to fit your specific
requirements.
Airlift System
Portable units typically utilize a
heavy-duty, built-in airlift system to
raise the portable platform units off
the floor. Once the platforms are
raised the sections can be relocated
by a series of compound swivel cast-
ers.
Integra was designed with a spacious
sitting area and thoughtful contours
to create an attractive, comfortable
chair. Integra is available with uphol-
stered pads for additional comfort.
The Integra beam mount system sets
a new standard for functionality
with a choice of manual or semi-
automatic chair operation and mul-
tiple armrest options. The forward
fold mechanism is supplied with a
protective dust / debris cover to help
reduce clean up times.
To address durability Integra has
been engineered to meet all stan-
dard industry requirements for spec-
tator seating as well as our own rig-
orous internal testing. Talk with your
Irwin Seating representative today
and find out if Integra is the right
choice for your facility.

INTEGRA SEATING
Maximizing capacity and performing quick change-overs between events are critical requirements for today’s
multi-purpose arenas. Our telescopic products are engineered to meet those requirements while helping to
provide patrons with a safe and comfortable experience.
ENGINEERED FLEXIBILITY
Tapered / Custom Sections
The versatility of many of today’s arenas lies in the end
zone seating. Converting from maximum seating capacity
to off-set ice or an end stage concert configuration is criti-
cal. We understand this concept and have the expertise to
design a system to fit your exact requirements.
Low Rise Platforms
Low rise platforms, whether telescopic or demount-
able in design can be supplied with as little as 4” row
rise and are typically used with folding chairs.

Irwin Seating offers two telescopic understructure systems to choose from,
the Model 4500 and Model 5000. Both deliver the solid foundation required
for today’s heavy use facilities, and include the same operational advan-
tages (see details). Each model is available with all seating options, with the
exception of the Prestige Series seating, which requires the Model 5000. To
learn more about which model is right for your facility, contact your Irwin
Seating Company representative today.
Our power operated telescopic sys-
tems use a heavy-duty Integral Drive
System (IDS) that applies the operat-
ing forces directly to the first row of
the understructure. This unique design
creates reliable, consistent operation.
IDS is also available with an optional
steerable system that lets the operator
make corrections when opening the
unit up. Larger systems, individually
operated sections and tapered sec-
tion include a dual motor design (see
inset) to ensure smooth operation and
proper alignment. The IDS System is
available in 208/480V 3-phase or 120V
single phase, U.L. Listed system.

Integra and Solara are rail mount chairs designed specifically for sporting venues. Integra models utilize a cast aluminium support structure while Solara’s is formed from glass-filled polyamide for complete corrosion resistance. Both Integra and Solara are available with rail mount armrests and aisle end panels. Solara is also available with integral polyamide armrests. Both models are available for floor or riser mount-ing and the aluminum rail can be formed to a radius to bridge con-crete breaks and sections.
