The Folk Cosmos
“The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings.”
― Masanobu Fukuoka
The essence of art is to help us discover our own innate feelings and experiences of life.
My learnings
When we try to convey these stories and our own perspective of the events, true art emerges which is very unique to an individual or community.
Folk art is characterized by an innocent childish perception.
Folk art expresses cultural identity by conveying shared
community values and aesthetics.
Everyone is an artist.
How do we encourage art in public spaces?
How can we facilitate spaces for anyone to create art?
How do we promote a culture of creation?
