This year, students will be off ered multiple opportunities to showcase their talents within the school and wider community. Our aim is to engage students in programs that lift the spirit and encourage creativity. We want to inspire our students to think diff erently – about making artworks, connecting to others and to reflect on how the Arts fit in a modern world. Our program extends across all art forms, and many events this year reflect clusters of linked work that promote creative endeavours from across multiple subject areas. The work on show will highlight the passion and dedication of staff from across the learning area.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. We aim to make this year’s showcase a standout and look forward to seeing you throughout the year.

Drama seeks to entertain through various forms and styles of theatre, and students display their skills through voice, movement and characterisation choices. In 2019, students will showcase their talents in a range of productions.
The Year 12 Production of Our Town follows the relationship between two young neighbours, George Gibbs and Emily Webb, in the small town of Grover’s Corners. Showing the whirlwind of life’s adventures, this play is an insight into love, death and all that lies in-between.
Skate is a turbo-charged, moving and funny account of the mates, mothers, tricks and traumas of a group of young skaters. Following this group as they battle with their local council to get a skate park, Skate is a comedic glance at adolescence and unity.
Spotlight, the Year 12 Solo Evening, is a showcase of our Year 12 Original Solo Performances for both Dance and Drama. Devised from scratch, students have developed these pieces throughout the year and reworked for the highest level of performance.
