NewsfromY1,Y2andY3Canyoubelievewe’realreadynearlyattheendofourWirsthalfterm?Y1havebeenlearningaboutthehumanbodyandoursensesfollowingourtriptotheColourExhibitionandourfavouritenewwordsarecranium,skullandmandible-wearelovingusingthescientiWicvocabularyingamesofSimonSays.Y2haveproducedsomebrillianthabitatboxesandcantellyouwhomightliveinthemandwhy.TheclassenjoyedavisittoDeptfordCreekandtheycreatedsomebrilliantstoriesbasedonOliverJeffers‘LostandFound’.Y3haveenjoyedmakingtheirownmodelShadufsandarenowexpertsonAncientEgyptandhavestartedwritingtheirowninformationtextallaboutmummiWication.Asweentertheendoftheterm,weshouldbefullyunderwaywithallourhomelearning:readingfor10minuteseverydayandrecordingitintheReadingRecordinallyears;weeklyspellingsinY2andY3andmathstimestablebookletsinY3.ThankyouasalwaysforyourcontinuedsupportandbesuretochecktheblogforpostsaboutourWinalfewweeksofourWirsttopics.EmmaDodsworth
