Dr. R Mukhopadhyay of JK Tyre conferred with‘Distinguished Alumnus Award 2020’ by IIT Kharagpur

Dr. R Mukhopadhyay, Director(R&D), JK Tyre has been conferredthe coveted “Distinguished AlumnusAward 2020” during the 66thConvocation of Indian Institute ofTechnology (IIT) Kharagpur.

The honor is in recognition of Dr.Mukhopadhyay’s achievements,determination, and contribution asan alumnus of IIT. The award waspresented by Prof. Virendra KumarTiwari, Director of IIT Kharagpur ata glittering ceremony during theinstitute’s convocation day inKharagpur, West Bengal.

The event was addressed by theHon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri.Narendra Modi as a Chief Guest andwitnessed the presence of eminentacademicians, scientists, industryexperts, technocrats and socialactivists, etc.

Atul RIK will be available in three fuelvariants – CNG, LPG and petrol. The newAtul RIK CNG combines both style andeconomics. It comes with features likeinternational-styled beige dashboard,semi-digital instrument cluster, step-lessentry, and first ever LED tail lamps. Whenit comes to return on investment, thecompany has taken care of RIK customersby offering an ‘Atulya Vishwas’ scheme

The RIK CNG and LPG variant also comeswith a 36-month (unlimited kilometres)super warranty. Gujarat has been astrong foothold for the company, havinga network reach of 120+ touch-points.

Niraj Chandra, Director, Atul Auto, said,“By introducing RIK we are sure to gain agood market share in the 0.35T three-wheeler industry.
