Core Identification Guide

Listed here are photographs and brief descriptionsof end views of various cores used on automaticroll filter machines. Airguard manufactures rollfilter replacements roll filter replacements for allmachines, and this guide is offered for assistancein identifying the proper core when systemidentification is not possible through other means.All cores furnished are identical with those suppliedby original equipment manufacturers.

TYPE AE CORE ( to fit AMERICANAIR FILTER ROLL-O-MATIC). Coreis 3/4” I.D. (1 1/8” O.D.) welded steel tubeand metal disc. End plates of approximately11” diameter are attached.

TYPE CR CORE (to fit CARRIERCORPORATION SERIES 31NA ROLLFILTER). Core is formed from a 2 7/16”fiberboard tube. The tube contains a metalcup secured in each end and recessed toa depth of 1 1/2”. The cup is stamped tofrom a 1 1/2” square opening.

TYPE CR CORE (to fit CAMBRIDGEAUTOROLL). Core is 3/4” welded steeltube. No metal disc are used. (If desired,please specify).

TYPE AM CORE (to fit AIRMAZEROLL-A-MAZE). Core is formedfrom fiberboard tube with 1 7/8" I.D. Tubehas recessed cups secured in each endwith a depth of 5/8”. Cup is stamped toform a 11/2”x 3/4” rectangular slot.

TYPE F CORE (to fit FARR CO. ROLL KLEENFILTERS). Core is formed from* 2 1/8” I.D. fiberboardtube using no drive pin, cups or disc.

*Note: Style V8 has 13/4” I.D.

TYPE C CORE ( to f i t CONTINENTALCONOMANUAL or CONOMATIC). Core is formedfrom 3” I.D. metal tube. A drive pin is located 2 1/2” fromone end of tube only. No cups or discs are used.

TYPE T CORE (to fit TRANE COMPANY ROLLFILTER). Core is formed from a 2 7/16” I.D. fiberboardtube. The tube contains a metal cup secured in each endrecessed to a depth of 1 1/2”. The cup is stamped to froma 1 1/2” square.

TYPE L CORE (to fit COMMERCIAL FULFLO unitsand MINE SAFETY APPLIANCE units). Core is formedfrom 3” I.D. metal tube.A drive pin is located 2 1/2” from one end of tube only.No cups or discs are used.

TYPE B CORE (to fit BLC INDUSTRIESAUTOMATIC ROLL MACHINE). Core is construtedfrom 1 1/2” diameter. EMT conduit, with 11” diameterend plates recessed in approx. 1 3/8” from end of core.
