DIY Lash Conditioners for Longer, Healthier Eyelashes
If you’re craving for longer eyelashes, there are many topical lash treatments that you can use
to make your lashes grow. You have the option to consult your dermatologist for effective
eyelash conditioners and growth serums that you can apply safely without harming your eyes.
If you want to skip the huge consultation fee, you can do your research online or ask your
friends on how to make your eyelashes grow longer.
But if you want some answers right now, just keep on reading to find the best lash
conditioner for your needs.
Just remember that topical lash applications don’t work overnight. You need to use them for
weeks, even months, to see noticeable progress. You should also stay away from mascaras
for a while because they make your lashes brittle and prone to breakage, especially when left
overnight.
Use these DIY lash conditioners to promote lash growth and overall health of your eyelashes:
Vitamin E Lash Conditioner:
What you need: Vitamin E oil or capsules, cotton swabs, small plate or container
If you have the oil, just add a few drops directly on the cotton swab and apply on your lashes.
If you’re using Vitamin E capsules, break open one or two and put the oil into a dry, clean
plate or container. Do not touch the oil with your fingertips. Dip a cotton swap in the Vitamin
E oil and sweep it across your lashes. For best results, use it twice a day: once in the morning
and once before going to bed.

Castor Oil Lash Conditioner:
What you need: Castor oil, vanilla extract, small container, disposable mascara wands or
cotton swabs.
You can buy a small bottle of castor oil at your favorite grocery store or drugstore. If you
can’t find one, you can also opt for almond oil instead. Pick up some disposable mascara
wands, as well, or you can use cotton swabs. If you have an old, unused mascara tube, you
can just clean it thoroughly and disinfect it before using.
Pour six drops of castor oil and two drops of vanilla extract into your small container. Mix
them well and then apply the mixture on your lashes using a clean mascara wand or cotton
swab, making sure not to put some in your eyes. Use it twice a day for best results.

Coconut Oil Lash Conditioner:
What you need: Coconut oil, disposable mascara wands or cotton swabs, small plate or
container
If you don’t have coconut oil available, you can use olive oil instead. Extra virgin coconut oil
or olive oil works best.
Pour a few drops of coconut oil into a dry, clean container and dip a clean cotton swab or
mascara wand in it. Apply the conditioner on your lashes twice a day.
Ultimate Lash Conditioner:
What you need: Coconut oil, olive oil, Vitamin E oil or capsules, disposable mascara wands
or cotton swabs, small plate or container
Pour three drops of oil into your container or a dry, clean mascara tube. Shake the mixture
well and dip a clean cotton swab or mascara wand in it. Apply this ultimate lash conditioner
on the base of your lashes. Do this twice a day.

Do I Really Need Tons of Lip Makeup Products?
Go down the makeup aisle of your favorite beauty store and you’ll find tons of lip makeup
products. Ever wondered what exactly each of them is for? Do you really need every type of
lip makeup? If not, what lip makeup products are the most necessary and should always be
included in your beauty kit?
Well, only you can answer those questions. Every woman has different needs and preference
when it comes to makeup for the lips. Some may prefer lip balms while others can’t live
without lipsticks. But if you’re confused as to what lip makeup is the most perfect for you,
just read through this article to know the various uses, benefits, and disadvantages of each
type of lip makeup. After knowing their differences, you can now decide which lip makeup to
buy.
Lip Balm:
Although lip balms are now getting more complicated as well, they are originally made to
moisturize dry and chapping lips. Lip balms often contain vitamin E, shea butter, and SPF,
which soften, moisturize, and protect your lips. They don’t have a full-color commitment but
some tinted lip balms offer sheer to medium coverage.
If you’re looking for bold, dark, and deep lip colors, lip balms will just disappoint you.
However, buy them if your lips tend to chap and dry.

Lip Gloss:
You might think that lip gloss is just for teens, but this line of lip makeup actually caters to
women of all ages. There’s a wide range of lip gloss for your lip color preference: sheer,
glitter, full color, and SPF protection, among others. But most of them are sheer or tinted and
can give you light to medium coverage.
Lip gloss can also moisturize your lips like what a lip balm does. But although a lip gloss can
give you the color you want, it can come off quicker than a lipstick. It doesn’t have a long
staying power and can stay greasy and moist the entire time.

Lip Stain:
If you want a full lip color without the hassle of retouching every now and then, lip stains are
the best candidates for this job. Lip stains are liquid-based products that can last for up to 12
hours with no upkeep. They last that long that you even need to use a makeup remover if you
want to get rid of them. You also have to be extra careful when applying them because once
they dry on your lips, they’re not coming off.
So, if you want bold lip colors without the kind of maintenance that a lipstick requires,
choose lip stains. But if your lips tend to dry or chap, best avoid lip stains or apply a lip balm
first before the lip stain.
Lip Liner:
If you’re having issues about smudged and messy lipstick, you should invest in a lip liner. It
basically keeps your lipstick in place so it wouldn’t migrate onto the surrounding areas of
your lips. Although a lip liner is just meant to outline the lips, others use it to color the lips
entirely before applying lipstick.
Lip liners make lipstick more long-lasting. However, they can only be partnered with
lipsticks alone and not with other types of lip makeup.

Lipstick:
Lipstick is used so that you can give full color coverage to your lips. Lipsticks used to be
very matte, but now there are more lipstick finishes that you can try. MAC alone features
lipsticks in 13 different finishes, not to mention the varying colors in each lipstick finish.
Lipsticks usually wear off very quickly but there are lipsticks specifically designed to be
more enduring and long-lasting.
