/ Revelations 7:9, 14b-17The words Jesus speaks in this reading were directed to some Jewish leaders who wanted to trip him up. They were hoping he would call himself the Messiah. Instead, Jesus refers to himself as “the Good Shepherd.” He describes the secure and lasting relationship he has with his sheep, those who truly hear him and believe. Just as no one can separate Jesus and his Father, no one can take Jesus’ disciples away from him. / John 10:27-30

Las palabras de Jesús en esta lectura están dirigidas a algunos líderes judíos que querían deshacerse de él. Ellos esperaban que Jesús se llamará a sí mismo el Mesías. Pero Jesús se refiere a sí mismo como “el buen pastor”. Describe la segura y eterna relación que él tiene con sus ovejas, los que realmente les escuchan y creen en él. Así como nadie puede separar a Jesús y su Padre, nadie puede separar a Jesús y sus discípulos. / Juan 10:27-30
