Whether you are a new member

or an old salt of our benevolent

organization, I hope you always remember to look at our club with a fresh pair of eyes.  I hope you will use the vast resources of our club to help those YOU think are in need.  When you see or learn of someone in need, don't let that thought end as a good intention; rather, think of Kiwanis and ask yourself, "how can WE help?"  Take for example, Corky Borders.  After years of active service, Corky has put this principal into action by volunteering to chair our Community Service Committee.  I'm sure he could use your help to execute his aggressive service calendar.  In the month of October make a goal to come up with one small way you can further include Kiwanis in your life.  Maybe even make a bigger goal to share the purpose of Kiwanis with three other people before the end of October. Go Gators, Neil

Heavenly Father: Help us to hear the silent cries for help of those around us. Make us less busy and more compassionate toward those who hurt and to realize that those who deserve love least need it most. And now bless this food to our use, and us to Your service. Amen
