There is massive market potential for weight and cost savings through innovative high performing materials, taking advantage of the collateral properties of polymer foams such as low density, high temperature behaviour, cryogenic temperature application, solvent resistance, ageing resistance etc.
These desirable properties have led the increased use in industries such as aerospace, automotive, transportation, packaging and construction. This highly competitive market requires collaboration and innovation throughout the supply chain, to ensure we remain at the front line of technological development.
This year the conference will host the Blowing Agents & Foaming Processes Innovation Award, which showcases the brightest new innovations within the polymeric foam industry, from “green”, structural and cellular foams through to parts developed through innovative use of foaming processes and blowing agents. Entrants will be judged by our expert panel and the winner will receive the Blowing Agents & Foaming Processes Innovation Award to be distributed at the Grand Drinks Reception on 13 May 2014.
Entries should be submitted by 21 April to Rachel Montgomery at [email protected]. For more information please see our website.
