THE RESULTS
Three months on fromcompletion of the project,website traffic from newvisitors using Google morethan doubled, increasingfrom 323 visits per monthto 697 visits per month.That's an increase of 115%.
The average clickthrough-rate (thepercentage of patientsthat click onto the websitefrom the search results)increased from 1.3% to3.2%.
Additionally, the practicewas able to be discoveredonline for specific servicesoffered. One example -sexual health services -experienced an increaseof almost 500% morevisits to the website (in 3months) as a result of thenew sexual health servicepage created.
When we were introduced to the owner of this medical centre, theirwebsite was failing to appear on page 1 for many of the typicalonline searches made by patients in the Byron Bay area. The homepage didn't clearly outline the benefits of choosing the practiceand contact information was not easy to find.
Their previous SEO company had been tracking keywords no-onewas actually typing into Google and the old website design ledpatients to believe they were a skin cancer clinic when they were infact a medical centre with a number of GP's and allied healthservices.
