– Retakes – don’t stop recording, just repeat from where you made the mistake
– 3 lip smacks – leaves 3 spike or finger snaps on the wave form
– Try to keep you voice tracks to as few as possible
– Ambient noise – just wait until it is over

Postproduction Steps• Go through your audio and remove any
mistakes or dead spots
• Make sure all audio tracks are arranged in order and moved together
• Add Podsafe music tracks or sound effects (Podsafe music is the term for music that can be legally used in a podcast and freely distributed online for others to download)
