Above: The crowd was large and excited for the Annual Volunteer Dinner and Annual Meeting. This is our way of showing thanks to all those that volunteer at the center. Without all those that give their time we simply couldn't have such a
great center for everyone to enjoy. THANK YOU ALL.
In these HOT
summer months
remember to check on your friends
and neighbors.
Without proper air
conditioning/cooling
during very hot days
homes can heat to
dangerous levels.
Remember:
We have a special
presentation on Monday, August 19th at 9:30am on
Personal Situational Awareness
presented by Dr. Pat
Thornton. Please try to attend and
bring a friend!
Above: Executive Director, Brenda Grimsley presented the Board Chairman, Vernon Brooks, with a special “Worlds Best” Volunteer Award for all of his many
years of devotion to the Senior Center at this years Volunteer Appreciation event.
