Admission Procedure
Admission to the MBA programme is through a rigorous
selection procedure.
Students with any degree from UGC recognized institutions with
10+2+3/4 pattern and those who are appearing for their final
examination (subject to getting the degree in the ensuing final
examination) are eligible to apply. To be considered for
selection, the student should have either appeared for
Management Aptitude Test (MAT), B.S. Abdur Rahman
University Aptitude Test (BSAUAT) or any other nationally
recognized entrance test. Selection is based on the combined
scores obtained by the candidate for their performance in
entrance test, degree marks, group discussion and personal

Computer Lab
Crescent Business School has an independent full fledged
computer centre with latest data base & software packages

Prof.Anuradha M.V. is a post graduate in Business Administration from
Crescent Engineering College, Anna University. She has 5+ years of full-time
work experience including 3.5 years of industry experience with companies
such as Nittany Outsourcing Services and Tata Consultancy Services,
Velachery centre. She has worked as a freelancer (SME) in HR stream since
2010. Her areas of interest include Information Systems Management,
Cloud Computing in E-governance and International Human Resource
Management. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. in “Application of
Information System in the design of IHRM model”.
Dr.T.Rangarajan, B.Tech (1971) from IIT, Madras and a Fellow of the
prestigious IIM Ahmedabad (1986), started his career as an Entrepreneur. In
1972, he founded a medium scale unit MINIPRO at Bangalore.
Subsequently, he branched off to academics, with a doctorate in
Management, specializing in Organizational Behaviour, from IIMA.
After brief stints with Ahmedabad Management Association,
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India and Centre for
Organizational Development, he has been an independent Management
Consultant for nearly two decades. He was the founder Principal of a
postgraduate (MBA/MCA) College at Kurnool and a Visiting Faculty at the
Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
In 2003, Dr. T. Rangarajan moved to Hubli to become the Director of KLE
Society’s Institute of Management Studies & Research (IMSR). Later he was
the Director of Dayananda Sagar College of Management & Information
Technology (DSCMIT) at Bangalore, for two years, and then Director, NYSS
Institute of Management & Research, (NYSS-IMR), Nagpur. He is currently
the Dean of Crescent Business School, B S Abdur Rahman University,
Chennai.
His hobbies include playing the flute, viewing films and photography. He isa Vipassana Meditator.

Prof. Charlie Thomas V. is a Mechanical engineering graduate with

of experience including 2 years of industry experience with Ernst and
Young, Middle East Operations for their Compliance, regulatory
database building and business risk services domain. His areas of interest
include Supply Chain Management and Marketing. He has

System, Portfolio Management, International Finance and International
Business.
Dr. Haider Yasmeen, has published a number of research papers in
refereed National and International Journals and has presented papers
in International Conferences. She is a soft-skill trainer and has imparted
training to executives working in industries and academicians. She has
contributed her expertise as a resource person for a number of
Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDP) and Faculty
Development Programmes (FDP). She is the Editor of Crescent Journal of
Business, brought out by the school. She coordinates the activities of
Human Resource Development Club. She is a recognized research
supervisor of this university.
Prof. J. Hemalatha is a graduate in Leather Technology from Madras
University and a Gold Medalist in her Masters degree in Business
Administration from Anna University. She has 12 years of experience,
including 7 years of industrial experience. She has worked for the
manufacturing and service industries before moving to academics. She
has published research papers in national and international journals
and has written chapters in edited volume books. Her areas of interest
include Retail Management, Operations Management and Materials

Dr. Ganesh S.K.G., has an overall experience of 26 years including 7
years of industrial experience with GEC Alsthom India Limited. He has
published and presented more than 25 papers in reputed journals and
conferences. Professor Ganesh has authored / edited three
management books and has organized several workshops, seminars,
panel discussions and Faculty Development Programmes (FDP). He has
carried out funded projects on innovative and contemporary
management topics. His report on the grant-in-aid project which was
executed under an MHRD scheme with National Testing Service-India
received appreciation. He has also chaired session in management
conferences and reviewed research papers in journals. Dr. Ganesh was
given the honour to offer editorial support to the journal ‘Vidwat –The
Indian Journal of Management’. He is guiding doctoral scholars and is
