Letter President from the
The month of November turns my attention to the holiday of Thanksgiving. I have a great deal to be thankful for including the support of members over this past year. I’m honored to have had the opportunity to serve with the men and women of our Board of Directors, and I am fortunate to be able to serve with most in 2020. Completing his extraordinary tenure as a Board Member in December of 2019, I thank Jay Mueller for his dedicated service; he will be missed.
A report of the Nominating Committee during last month’s member dinner resulted in a ballot of the 2020 Officers and Directors. Those who were slated can be found elsewhere in this newsletter. A formal vote on their election will be held at the Member Dinner on November 19, 5:30 pm at Villaggio Ristorante. This meeting will be our last member dinner of the year with Mayor Andy Maglio presenting his Annual State of the Village address.
In addition to the Mayor’s annual address, we have partnered with members, the Village, and area chambers to offer a variety of networking opportunities this month. Join us for as many of these activities as you can starting with a ribbon cutting as the Village welcomes GC Realty & Development to Roselle on November 14 at 4:30 pm. We’re participating in the Annual Multi-Chamber Progressive Lunch where you’ll meet local professionals from 14 area chambers on November 20, 11:00 am. And while you’re gearing up for the holidays, stop by Platt Hill Nursery to check out their seasonal display of gifts and decorations for a Multi-Chamber After Hours on November 21, 4:30 pm.
I wish you and your families a healthy and happy Thanksgiving holiday. I look forward to seeing many of you at this month’s events and at our Annual Holiday Party on December 6.

Additional Benefits of your Chamber Account
Our site offers members an avenue to promote their business through the business directory, special offers, and assist in the search of employees.
Your Chamber account dashboard provides access to:
Member DirectoryMembers receive a basic business listing in our searchable directory. This includes business name and location, products and/or services provided, and a link to the business website. The account dashboard allows members to update this information as well as enhance the listing by adding a logo or other image and a detailed business description.
Special OffersMembers may create promotions and upload them to the Chamber’s site. A page dedicated to special offers will encourage visitors to view ongoing specials.
Job PostingsMembers in need of help may post a job opening on the Chamber’s site. Postings will be displayed until a request is made of the Chamber office for its removal.

It’s time to start thinking about the upcoming 2020/2021 edition of our Community Directory & Business Guide. What sets us apart from other area directories, ours is a two-year publication not just one year of circulation.
You may recall how we decided to produce the directory as an in-house publication beginning with the 2004/2005 edition. In doing so we’ve kept the advertising costs reasonable making this an affordable avenue to promote your business.
Great rates and longer shelf life than most!
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to gain exposure for your business. More information will be available in upcoming editions of our newsletter with an anticipated mailing to members in January.

What do we love the most about this community? The people we share it with! That’s why we support the families here, the local businesses, and the charitable organizations, too. Instead of just providing banking solutions, we also take pride in giving back to the people who work to make this area so great. Why? Because this isn’t just home to us; it’s home to all of us. And, as a true community bank, we know that when we all do our part, we can help make Roselle better for everyone.
