Ourproductionmodelisbasedonsmallscale,regenerativeproductionpracticesbasedontheprinciplesofHolisticManagement.Thismeanslivestockarebothcarefullylookedafterandatthesametimetheygettoexpressnormalbehaviors.Pigsgettorollinmud,cowsgettograzegrass,andchickensgettoeatbugs.Oursystemofnaturaldiets,rotationalgrazingandmanuremanagementmeanswehavelessproblemswithparasitesandillnessandthereforeourlivestockdonotreceiveantibioticsorgrowthhormones.Ourlivestockgrowslowerandhavemorenaturaldietsandthisgivesincredibledeepsflavorsandtexturestoourmeats.Ourmoreexperiencedcustomerstellusourfood“tastesthewayfoodusedtotaste”.Atourmeatshopwecanmakejustaboutanymeatproductyoucanbuy,andquiteafewthingsthatyoujustcan’tgetanywhereelse.Don’tseewhatyouwant?Phoneus,wecanmakeit!

WholeanimalsWhenyouorderawholeanimal,yougetallthevariouscutsofthatanimaldistributedthroughouttheyear.Everyonegetsfreshlybutcheredmeateverymonthandtheanimalsaredividedamongstsubscribers.Wehavebasedourpricingandcutsonthe“standardanimal”Formoreinformationonwhatwemeanbythe“standard”animal,checkoutthe“standardbreakdownofweightsandcuts”link.Wewilldelivertoyouagoodvarietyofcutseachmonthandkeeptrackofwhatyouhavereceivedthroughouttheyear.Bytheendoftheyear,youwillhavereceivedeverycut,andtotheminimumweightonthelist.(occasionallyyoumayreceiveslightlymoremeatthanyoupaidforduetonaturalvariations)
BulkMeatPacksWiththisoption,youcanchoosethedollarvalueofyourmonthlyvarietybulkpackaswellasthedifferenttypesofmeat(pork,chicken,etc)youwouldlikeincluded.Varietypackscanbeorderedinincrementsof$50/monthbutthesmallestorderis$100/month.
Whydowedothis?Whensellingindividualcutsstoresandfarmerscanmakemoremoneybutoftenstruggletomovecertaincutsdependingonwherethedemandisatthetime.Wetendtoendupwithnotenoughofcertaincutsandtoomuchofothers.Thiscreatesalotofextraworkandexpense.Sellingbulkpacksisagoodwayforustosellcutsthatweget“long”onsuchasroasts,ribs,groundmeat,chickenwings,etc.Thisisprobablythecheapestoveralloptionbecausethemoreexpensivecutstendtosellbetter.
