Wafer, lug or flange style monobloc body has been designed in order to ensure maximum security and reliability (proven by Finite Elements). It has extended valve neck enabling piping isolation. Wafer style body has in its external diameter a shaped ring that eases alve installation and centralization in the pipe flanges.

> Disc
Disc has been designed to minimise pressure drop in totally open position. Sealing area is polished in the entire perimeter providing total sealing in relation to the seat and ensuring low operating torque.
> Shaft
Upper shaft transmits the rotation movement
to disc by means of square drive, so, there is a system that eliminates the existence of taper pins, keys and studs making nonexistent the possibilities of wear and leakage by these parts.
Upper shaft end dimensions are defined to install in actuators as per ISO 5211/DIN 3337 Standard. Upper shaft is fixed to the body through a spring pin, defining the “anti-extrusion” system of the set, avoiding the shaft being extruded from the body.
Lower shaft is fixed to the body through a spring pin, defining the “Trunnion” system of the set, ensuring perfect alignment between body, disc and shaft.

It allows the coupling of manual, pneumatic and electric actuators directly on the top’s flange that, together with the shaft complies with ISO 5211 Standard.

> Body

Flange style body for installation between flanges according to ASME, AWWA, DIN and NBR Standards. Face to face dimensions according AWWA C-504.

Disc designed to minimise pressure drop in fully open position, as well as to allow grater flow rate in smaller degrees of opening.
> Shaft sealing
Sealing is made by gaskets with packing gland mounted in an inverted position, allowing easy adjustment and uniform compression of the gaskets without interfering with actuator mounting directly in the top’s flange. Standard gaskets facilitate their interchangeability.
> Actuation
It allows the coupling of manual, pneumatic and electric actuators directly on the top’s flange that, together with the shaft complies with ISO 5211 standard.

> Body
The body is made with the purpose of providing the ultimate in rigidity and leak free performance. The conical seat, welded, bolted or integral to the body retains a sealing surface completely free of interruptions and assures a minimum reduction of the inside port diameter as well as providing the maximum flow capacity. The body internal surface can be rubber vulcanized or epoxy lined.
> Body sealing
It remains corrosion resistant that, depending on the body material this is achieved by the following solutions:
- Integrally cast, for bodies in stainless steel, bronze or other corrosion resistant alloys;
- Welded to the body, for bodies in carbon steel;- Fully vulcanized, for bodies in ductile iron or cast / fabricated carbon steel.- Integral replaceable seat options are also available.
> Seal ring
The heavy “T” section seal ring is designed to eliminate the potential extrusion divided at high flow velocity. As a result of this design, the valve is capable of providing a full tight sealing at pressures up to 25 bar.
