The Iron saddle is the epitomy of lightness, aerodynamics and comfort for triathletes. It is a concentration of technology and innovation capable of improving overall performance in all aspects of the discipline. With the frame set further back and the saddle positioned further forward in relation to the bottom bracket axle, the triathlete saves a significant amount of muscle energy necessary. The tapered shape of the saddle nose (with an international patent) reduces rubbing between the inside thigh and the side of the saddle and facilitates

Leggerezza, aerodinamicit e comfort: la sella Iron la prima sella pensata e ideata per un uso specifico nel triathlon, un concentrato di tecnologia e innovazioni in grado di migliorare la performance complessiva, in tutte le frazioni della disciplina. Laumentato arretramento del telaio consente un notevole avanzamento della sella Iron rispetto al movimento centrale, garantendo al triatleta un significativo risparmio muscolare necessario allo svolgimento della successiva frazione di corsa. La forma rastremata del naso della sella (brevetto internazionale Selle Italia) riduce lo sfregamento tra linterno coscia e il fianco della sella e facilita il movimento

della pedalata. La particolare rete inserita nel canale centrale favorisce lareazione e il drenaggio dellabbigliamento umido conseguente alla frazione di nuoto, limitando la macerazione dei tessuti e le piaghe da sfregamento. Il caratteristico design del retro della sella evita leffetto vortici a cascata cio laumento della turbolenza nella parte posteriore del corpo del ciclista. SHOCK ABSORBERTECHNOLOGYThe use of elastomer shock absorber between the shell and the rail provides a shock dampening system which absorbs and eliminates all road shocks and vibrations.


CO-MOULDINGTECHNOLOGY The shell is produced with a special co-polymer, added with carbon fibre, which does not change its character in variable temperatures and is also lightweight. The co-molded elastomer (fork design) keeps the shell flexible and becomes an active part of the rider because it follows the movement of the riders leg.

The result is a rigid where its needed yet flexible and comfortable Monolink seatpost.
