Charter System Application Update
Where Are We?
Submitted Application on June 23, 2015
Received communication from DOE to schedule interview
Interview with the state was for August 17, 2015
A team of APS employees and stakeholders participated in the interview – we received positive feedback and a few requests for clarification
We responded to GADOE request for clarification in a timely manner
We are anticipating a first read at the SBOE meeting in September or an actual vote to approve our charter system status
