INDICATIONS
Chromic gut suture is indicated for the use in animals in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic surgery.
• Purity of collagen for optimal tensile strength and in vivo performance.
• Surface smoothness to facilitate knot run down and knot strength.
• Absorption rate is variable at 14 – 28 days.
• Catgut should be stored sealed until ready for use.
• The product should be stored at room temperature in a dry environment.
