Anachronism – something or someone that is not in it’s correct
historical or chronological time, esp. a thing or person that belongs to
an earlier time.
These represent anachronism because these people were from an earlier time, and they are not in the correct time.
Chronic – continuing a long time or recurring frequently
This picture represents chronic because education continues for a very long time, and chronic is something that continues a long time.
Chronicle – a chronological record of events; a history.
These pictures represents chronicle because it shows history, like a history book and when in a history book, it’s recorded. Also, because that dude in a recorder he is holding a recording device.
Chronology – the sequential order in which past events occur.
These pictures represent chronology because clocks show when time passes, and chronology means when past events occur.
Chronometer – any timepiece, esp. a wristwatch, designed for the
highest accuracy.
These pictures represent chronometer because a chronometeris a watch, and these are pictures of watches.
Contemporary – existing, occurring or living at the same time;
belonging to the same time.
These pictures represent contemporary because all these people belong to the same generation, the same place.
Extemporaneous – done, spoken, performed, etc., without special
advance preparation; impromptu
This picture represents extemporaneous because when you skateboard you don’t have a special preparation, you just do whatever you feel like doing at that time.
Synchronize – to cause to indicate the same time, as one timepiece
with another
These pictures represents synchronize because they are all doing the same movement, at the same time.
Temper – a particular state of mind or feeling.
This picture represents temper because he is mad and when you have a temper you have a particular state of mind, and he is just angry. Which, is his state of mind.
Tempest – a violent windstorm, esp. one with rain, hail, or snow
This picture represents tempest because as you see, there is a violent windstorm and you can tell by the trees blowing and the water flowing everywhere.
