Cisco Self Care Portal The Cisco Self Portal allows users the ability to control features, settings and services for their Cisco Unified IP phone(s).

Accessing Cisco Self Care Portal ThereareseveralwaystoaccessyourSelfCarePortal.

Cisco Jabber for Windows: 1. YoumayaccessyourSelfCarePortalwhileon

campusorviaVPNthroughyourCiscoJabberforWindows.

2. ChooseFile>Options>SelfCarePortal.3. AttheUserNameandPasswordprompts,

enterthefollowing:a. UserName: NetIDb. Password: NetID Password

4. ClickSignIn.

Cisco Jabber for Mac:

1. YoumayaccessyourSelfCarePortalwhileoncampusorviaVPNthroughyourCiscoJabberforMac.

2. ChooseJabberMenu>Preferences>SelfCare.3. ClickOpenSelfCare.4. AttheUserNameandPasswordprompts,enterthe

following:a. UserName: NetIDb. Password: NetID Password

5. ClickSignIn.

Web Browser:

1. YoumayaccessyourSelfCarePortalanytimebynavigatingyourbrowsertohttps://myphone.northwestern.edu.

2. AttheUserNameandPasswordprompts,enterthefollowing:a. UserName: NetIDb. Password: NetID Password

3. ClickSignIn.

TheSelfCarePortalhomepagewilldisplaytoshowtheavailableconfigurationcategoriesacrossthetopandsideofthewindow.Alistofassigneddevicesandphonenumberswillbeshownintherightpane.Ifmultipledevicesareassignedtoauser,theywillappearinthesamepane.Anychangesmadewillbeappliedtotheselecteddeviceonly.

Setting Speed Dials

NavigatetoPhoneSettings.Ifyouhavemorethan1phonelisted,clickthe“LinkPhones” iconpriortobuildingspeeddials.SelecttheAddNewSpeedDiallink.

Add Speed Dial Completethefollowingfields:

1. Number /URL:

Enterthenumberasyouwoulddialitfromacampustelephone;i.e.5-digitinternalextension,or9forexternalline,or1forlongdistance.

2. Label (Description):

Entertexttoidentifyentry.Labelswillshowonyourphonedisplayforthenumberofspeeddialbuttonsconfigured.Theremainingentriesareforyourpersonalidentification.

3. Speed Dial:

Enteranumberfrom1-199.Dependingonthenumberofspeeddialfeaturebuttonsallocatedonyourphone,thefirst2or3codeswillshowonyourphonedisplay.TheremainingspeeddialcodesarehiddenandusedviatheSpeedDialsoftkey.

4.ClickSave.

ASpeedDialiconindicatesthattheLineKeyhasbeendesignatedtospeeddialaspecificnumber.Thelabelinthedisplaymaycontainthenumber,name,orboth.Thiswillprovidetheuserwiththefollowingcapabilities:• Quicklydialafrequentlyusednumber• Quickaccesstoafrequentlyusedfeaturei.e.transfertovoicemail• UnusedbuttonsmaybeprogrammedbytheuserasaspeeddialTo Access Abbreviated Dialing

1. Whileyourphoneisidle .2. DialtheSpeedDialnumber(1-199).3. PresstheOptions…>SpeedDialsoftkeys.4. Pickuphandset.

Forwarding Calls NavigatetoCallForwardingandclickForwardAllCallsTobox.ChooseVoicemailfromthedropdownmenuorenterthetargetForwardNumber(remember9forexternalnumbers).ClickSave.

Changing Password/PIN NavigatetoGeneralSettingsandEnterNewPassword/PINandConfirmNewPassword/PINbox.ClickSave.

Note:PINisassociatedtotheExtensionMobilityandPersonalDirectoryfeatures.ThisPINisnotassociatedwithyourvoicemail.

Setting Do Not Disturb NavigatetoIM&AvailabilityandenableDoNotDisturbbyplacingacheckintheTurnonbox.ClickSave.

Note:DoNotDisturbwilldeactivatetheringer.Callerswillnotbemadeawarethatthisfeatureisenabled.Theywillhearthestandardnumberofringsbeforebeingdirectedtovoicemail.

Setting Mobility/Single Number Reach Youmayreceiveincomingdeskphonecallsonyourmobilephonesimultaneously.Toset-upyourmobilephonetoreceiveyourdeskphonecalls,followthesesteps:

1.NavigatetoMyPhonesandclickthe iconintheAdditionalPhonessection.

2.EnteryourMobileNumberincludingthe“9”and“1”ifyourmobilephoneisalongdistancenumber.

3.EnteraDescriptioni.e.MyMobilePhone.

4.UsetheradiobuttonstoEnable/DisabletheSingleNumberReachand/orEnableMovetoMobilefeatures.

5.Youhavetheoptiontocreateascheduletoreceivedeskphonecallsonyourmobilephone.Bydefault,youwillreceivecalls24/7.ClickAdvancedCalltimingtosetthedate/timeparameters.

6.ClicktheSaveicon.
