Dr. Forsberg has authored and presented scientifi c papers around the world. His research interests include breast reconstruction, facial trauma, craniosynostosis, the economics of plastic surgery, and upper extremity prosthetics. He received the Georgiade Award at the North Carolina Society of Plastic Surgeons for his work regarding aesthetic outcomes in breast reconstruction.
Dr. Forsberg has been invited to lecture on topics including techniques in aesthetic surgery, eyelid reconstruction, burn care management, trauma care, and vascular diseases in the upper extremity at international and domestic academic medical centers.
