Coal is delivered to 3 x 500t capacity low-profile silos. Each silo is load-cell mounted to monitor its contents weight.
The train is limited to a payload of 1,500 tonne due to the gradient of the rail-line between the port and its destination at Rotowaro.
The train consists of 30 x 50 tonne capacity bottom dump wagons that are fully loaded within 30 minutes.
Upon commissioning we exceeded the required weighment accuracy of < 0.5% within the first few wagon loads.
CORTEX designed and developed the control system that achieves this impressive result.
