WITH PREVIOUSLY PLACED OR PRECAST CEMENT CONCRETE. THE EPOXY BONDING COMPOUND
SHALL BE TYPE 2, GRADE 2 AS DESCRIBED IN ASTM-C881-90. SATISFACTORILY CLEAN
SURFACES OF ALL MATERIAL THAT WOULD INHIBIT PROPER BONDING. EPOXY BONDING
IS INCIDENTAL TO THE CLASS OF CONCRETE FOR WHICH IT IS APPLIED.
APPLY PROTECTIVE COATING FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE SURFACES (PENETRATING SEALERS,
SUBSTRUCTURE SURFACES) TO ALL EXPOSED FACES OF THE WINGWALLS (EXPOSED FRONT
FACE, AND BACK FACE DOWN TO A LINE ONE (1) FOOT BELOW FINISHED GRADE.
APPLY PROTECTIVE COATING FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE SURFACES (PENETRATING SEALERS,

THICKNESSES AND REINFORCMEMENT WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO VARY FROM ONE BOX CULVERT
