Configuring EWA through SDCCN

1- Make sure the following parameters are set(OSS note 144864)

R/3 instance profile parameters as follows: stat/level = 1 rsdb/staton = 1

init<SID>.ora as follows: timed_statistics =true

2- Prerequisites(OSS note 91488):

- Make sure ST-PI 2005_1_640 is in at SPAM. (OSS note 116095)

- Make sure ST-A/PI 01G_R3_470 for R/3 and 01G_BCO640 for BW and

XI boxes are in place. (OSS note 69455)

- Make sure OSS1 works.

3- Deactivate SDCC and activate SDCCN(OSS note 763561):

- Delete AUTO_SESSION_MANAGER, SESS*, SASSM* jobs

- Go to SDCCN Utilities� Activate

- Check if SDCC is deactivated. Goto SDCC and verify:

- Check if task processor in SDCCN is active: SDCCN� Goto�

Settings�Task Processor � Should be active as follows:

4- Activating EWA in SDCCN (OSS note 207223)

- Refresh Service Definitions: SDCCN� Todo tab double click on execute

next to Service Preparation Check

SAVE

For 187939 click on icon then click on “Set Green” icon.

For 69455 click on and click on “Procedure after addon

implementation”

Confirm and make sure there are no more red marked OSS notes then

exit.

- Setup parameters for EWA: SDCCN� Goto� Settings� Task Specific�

Session Data Collection�Data Request � Settings� Validate the

following:

- Create a new RFC destination to Solution Manager: SDCCN� GoTo�

Settings� Task Specific � RFC Destination Settings click on �

Change �

Add RFC Destination �

- Create a new task: SDCCN� Task � Create � Refresh Sessions �

Click on and set the job as daily.

Troubleshooting:

- Make sure SDCC_OSS RFC destination is working.

- Make sure SOLUTION_MANAGER RFC destination is working.
