Door BlaDe MoDelsDepending on customer preferences and the design of the Coolroom or Freezer Room, there are a number of models to choose from.
The two main factors to consider besides the Clear Door Opening size are:
1) Door Panel thickness This is a customer preference but generally 75mm panel is used for
Coolrooms and 100mm Panel is used for Freezer Rooms.
2) threshold or no threshold If the doorway to your room has no threshold you will need to use a Model
‘T’ door. If your doorway does have a ‘Step up’ or ‘Step over’ threshold you will need to use a Model ‘S’ door.
Material
1) Panel Machine injected Polyurethane (PUR), sheeted with 0.5mm Surfmist White
color-bond steel. Capped with anodized aluminium, invisibly fixed.
2) Door seal EL85 PVC Frame & Floor Gaskets, (fitted). - Code for Replacement - W5039 - Frame - W1229 - Floor
3) strengthening Corners fixed with internal steel brackets.
4) Hardware Fixing locations Please refer to the attached diagram for hardware fixing locations. Each door
can be used for left or right hand applications.
5) Hardware Door Hardware such as Latches & Hinges are not supplied with the Door
Blades. Please talk to our sales team for options.

9. If Heater Cable is required to warm the frame to prevent freezing, CRH can recommend product code RMBHC48. This is a me braided heater cable which allows it to be earthed when installed correctly and is 48 ohms/m. If you need to reduce the temperature you can attach a dimmer switch to the circuit.
Entry & Exit holes have been pre-drilled for your convenience in the top of the horizontal external frame and the cable sits comfortably in the channel provided by the frame profile.

HeateD tresHolDsWith Freezer applications it is essential to heat door frame to prevent ice build-up and the door freezing closed. This also applies to the floor.
Each contractor has a different idea & method of how the heated treshold is achieved. The following is just one option to consider using the CRH door frame profiles.
1. Once the position of the intended doorway has been determined cut the floor the width and depth of the external frame profile you are using.
Heated Treshold
sDaFk130 is 130mm wide x 41mm deep. The Exterior Face cut should be 58mm out from the face of the Exterior Wall
Panel and 77mm deep to allow for the front face of the profile
sDaFk90 is 90mm wide x 20mm deep. The Exterior Face cut should be 35mm out from the face of the Exterior Wall
Panel and 55mm deep to allow for the front face of the profile.
sDaFk90 threshold Cut sDaFk130 threshold Cut
2. Secure the profile in place using silicone or an industrial adhesive such as Bond-Pro N130C, ensuring the top profile is flush with the surface of the floor.
3. Revert back to the standard instructions for assembling the CRH Sliding door frame in sequence.
