How to applySut i wneud cais
Applying for your place on one of our courses is easy. If you already know the
course that you want to study, complete an application form which is available
from any of our campus reception areas, or you can complete online via the
College website. If you are not sure which course you would like to study, call in
and see us or visit our Open Evenings to speak to our lecturers.
Step 1: Complete an application formCollect an application form from reception at any campus, or the Learner Services
departments in Bridgend or Pencoed, or via the website — bridgend.ac.uk. We
accept application forms throughout the year, but some courses are extremely
popular and fill quickly, so the sooner you apply the better.
Step 2: Invitation to interviewOnce we have received your application, you will be contacted with a date for you
to come to the College for an interview. If you are successful, you will be offered
either a conditional or an unconditional offer. We will explain the whole process at
the point of interview and will support you every step of the way.
Step 3: EnrolmentEnrolment usually takes place in August. You will be sent a letter detailing when
you need to come to the College and what information you need to bring with you.

In the UK all qualifications fit into one of 9 levels. This applies to qualifications
taken through work or at school, college or university. At Bridgend College, you
can choose to study qualifications from Entry Level up to Level 6, depending on
your ability and level of prior achievement.
Vocational CoursesThese are work-related qualifications specifically designed to help you acquire
work-related knowledge and skills. A vocational qualification gives you proof that
you are adequately trained for a particular workplace.
• Qualifications are available in many levels, ranging from Introductory Awards to
Extended Diplomas
• Some courses are run on a full-time basis, whilst others are aimed at people in
employment who need special qualifications to help them get on at work.

You will provide services to members of the public such as hair treatments,

These discrete programmes are designed to meet the very individual needs of
young people with a range of abilities including those with learning, physical and
sensory disabilities and Autistic Spectrum conditions in an inclusive mainstream
FE setting with access to appropriate care and support.
Within this provision, we offer a nurturing and supportive environment for
students to follow a variety of programmes ranging from Pre-entry to Level 1.
Learners are taught in small groups with at least one designated Classroom
Support Worker and whilst we are always looking to further independence, for
reasons of Safeguarding there is also supervision in non-taught sessions.

Based at our Pencoed Campus, our range of specialist teaching facilities,
including the Animal Care Centre, Equestrian Centre, outreach farm and
horticultural facilities (including glasshouses & gardens) are designed to ensure
