• Read carefully!• Write clearly!• Look away from text!• Outline!• Focus and Think!• Put the notes in your own words!
More ideas:• Make lists• Highlight important ideas on a printed page• Use graphic organizers• Make notes on3 x 5 cards and organize in a
pocket chart or on a table top• Use lined notebook paper• Draw a chart and fill it in• Create a web• Use a tape recorder, then transcribe the
words into written form• Use Inspiration or Kidspiration to organize your
thoughts
