By now, you might be wondering why Lammers is in between parentheses. During an attempt at “re-branding” myself, I googled Carmela Garcia and a female entertainer was the top search

result, along with other random Carmela Garcias. Long story short, I decided to add my mother’s last name and the name

that appears on my passport in hopes of avoiding the usual “google someone to find out more about them” search tactic

and embarrassment. So no, I’m not married. Simply Hispanic with a long last name.
