Changes from 2015 • Addition of a fulltime counselor position at each summer site • Addition of two periods of teacher leader time to support instruction • One hour of paid common planning time each week • Teachers must have appropriate teaching credentials to teach subjects listed in course offerings
--Classes will no longer be staffed with teachers with out-of-subject credentials • 1-2 week Summer Bridge Programs at CORE Waiver schools (Priority, Focus and Support) • Transportation not available; students may attend any high school that offers the classes
they need or is geographically convenient • Non-core courses added—two sections per school (subject to General Fund allocation)
