5.3 DEP/ARR for ACFT are restricted as below: - All non-noise certifi ed jet ACFT: 20-08LT - Chapter 2 and equivalent ACFT: 00-07LT - Chapter 3 and equivalent ACFT: 0030- 0630LT - All other ACFT: 0030-0630LT
6. TWY RESTRICTION 6.1 TWY K is uncontrolled and restricted to
ACFT with a wingspan of 41m/135ft or less, and an Aircraft Load Rating of 9.0 or less. Other ACFT may be authorized with prior approval.
6.2 Design speed for TWY B2, C2, D1-D7 and H3 is 50kt.
6.3 Design speed for TWY F2, F4, J2, M1 and M3 is 45kt.
6.4 For all other rapid exits design speed is 35kt.

7. APRON7.1 Gates 101A to 112 limitaion: DH8-100
requires use of (full tiller) MNM radius turn when exiting to maintain wing tip clearance.
7.2 Marshaller required at all gates.
7.3 MNM breakaway power to be used.
8. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES 8.1 Arrival RWYs are RWY 05 and RWY
06L. For RWY 05, approved exists are TWYs H3, B, H/J and Q. For 06L approved exits are TWY C3 and D. ACFT exiting either RWY must proceed beyond the alternating green and yellow CLL to ensure the ACFT is clear of the RWY and ILS sensitive area.
8.2 RWY for DEP is RWY 05, 06L and 33R
8.3 Intersection TKOF from 06L NA.
8.4 Intersection TKOF on RWY 33R from TWY V and on RWY 05 from H6 may be assigned by ATC.
8.5 At no time shall a pilot cross an illuminated red stop bar.

1. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURE
(All RWYs 07-23LT) For all APCH including visual APCH: - Maintain 3000 or above until intercepting extended RWY CL, and;
- intercept extended RWY CL at or out- side FAF, then;
- Remain at or above GP or assumed 3.0° glide slope.
2. TRAFFIC NOTES
2.1 When informed by ATIS or by ARR that simultaneous ILS APCH are in progress, pilots shall advise ARR immediately if any avionics is u/s or if unable to comply.
2.2 In VMC ACFT may be vectored to intercept LLZ above GP.

1. START UP, PUSH BACK All ACFT shall contact Apron Advisory prior
to push back and taxi.
2. IFR CLR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Acknowledgement of IFR CLR with Toronto
TWR CLR DEL shall include ACFT call sign, transponder code and name of SID that was assigned in the IFR CLR.
3. DE-ICING PROCEDURES3.1 Subject to Ground Icing Conditions, upon
entry to the deicing bay, the Flight Crew will advise if any of the following are required; tactile, under wing, undercarriage inspection and vertical stabilizer or fuselage antiicing. The fl ight crew will be advised of the fl uids in use (“mode”). When in “Type I mode”, blended DOW Type I (UCAR ADF Concentrate) will be applied. When in “Type IV mode”, Type I followed by DOW Type IV

4. LAND AND HOLD SHORT OPERATIONS

5. LANDING Anticipate landing RWY 05/23 and
RWY 06L/24R in crosswinds up to 25kt.
(Endurance EG 106) anti-icing fl uid will be applied.
The Flight Crew must request any deviation to the “Type I” or “Type IV mode”.
To expedite overall deicing process, if able, aircraft should be confi gured for deicing on approach to CDF.
All deicing operations performed with aircraft engines operating, unless otherwise advised by the Icehouse.
3.2 Automated Procedures3.2.1 At terminal gate position, contact Apron
Advisory for pushback clearance; advise “Aircraft deicing required”.
3.2.2 After transfer from Apron to Ground Control, the pilot will receive taxi instructions to CDF entry transfer point Ice (#).
3.2.3 When approaching the CDF entry point, Ground Control will advise the pilot to monitor “PAD CONTROL” on 131.175
3.2.4 PAD CONTROL will normally instruct pilot to:
a) “Hold position at (e.g. Ice 1)”, or b) “Taxi/Proceed to staging bay # (e.g.
Pad 3C)” and “contact ICEMAN at pad entrance on 131.375 (Pads 1 through 3), or on 129.625 (Pads 4 through 6)”.
3.2.5 After clearance from PAD CONTROL, to continue taxiing, proceed into assigned pad following the appropriate inset guide lights. An automated Visual Guidance and Display System will provide correct fl ight number, closing rate and stopping information. No exchange of deicing information is necessary at this stage. KEEP RT BRIEF AND AVOID FREQUENCY CONGESTION.
3.2.6 On entry into staging bay contact ICEMAN and proceed following the display sign instructions.
CAUTION: AIRCRAFT WILL NOT ENTER THE DEICING BAY UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY “ICEMAN”.
3.2.7 Once aircraft is at fi nal stop position, brakes are set and aircraft confi gured for “engines-on” spray, contact ICEMAN on the appropriate frequency e.g., “ICEMAN, ABC124 in Bay 2 North, brakes set, ready to de-ice”.

3.2.8 ICEMAN will advise “HOLD position, deicing is starting, continue to monitor Signboard.”
3.2.9 ICEMAN will contact pilot to advise “deicing is completed, aircraft is clean, fl uid used for holdover, holdover starts at time and deicing vehicles are safe, HOLD position and contact PAD CONTROL on 131.175 for taxi”.
NOTE: “Clean” means as per pilot’s specifi c request for deicing services.
CAUTION: DO NOT MOVE AIRCRAFT. ENGINE RUN UPS WILL ONLY BE APPROVED BY THE PAD OPERATOR WHEN OPERATIONS ALLOW.
3.2.10 When ready to taxi contact PAD CONTROL and advise “ABC123 ready to taxi”
3.2.11 PAD CONTROL will issue visual, signboard displaying “EXIT NOW” and verbal exit instructions to CDF exit point.
CAUTION: DO NOT MOVE AIRCRAFT UNTIL PAD CONTROL GIVES BOTH VERBAL AND VISUAL CLEARANCE.
3.2.12 At exit point, hold short and contact Ground (as advised by PAD CONTROL) for further clearance.
CAUTION: All inset guide lights, departing the deicing bays, are ALWAYS on, regardless of taxi instructions.
3.3. Manual Procedures3.3.1 At terminal gate position, contact Apron
Advisory for push back clearance, advise “Aircraft deicing required”.
3.3.2 After transfer from Apron to Ground Control, the pilot will receive taxi instructions to CDF entry transfer point Ice (#).

3.3.7 Iceman will provide:
a) Clearance to Staging Bay only ICEMAN will issue taxi instructions
in the assigned staging bay to the specifi c stop point in the bay.
b) Clearance directly to Deicing Bay ICEMAN will issue instructions
for taxi to the assigned deicing position in the deicing bay, including the mode of guidance (follow me vehicle) and the requirement to report “Brakes set and Aircraft Confi gured.”
CAUTION: AIRCRAFT WILL NOT ENTER THE DEICING BAY UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY “ICEMAN.”

3.3.8 Once aircraft is stopped, advise Iceman “brakes set and Configured for deicing, contact ICEMAN and advise
3.3.9 ICEMAN will advise, “Deicing starts now, HOLD position monitor signboard on (left or right)”.
Automated Guidance System partial failure (AGS)
The aircraft will be held at the deicing position by a signboard displaying “STOP” and red lights until deicing is completed. At this time the “Follow Me” truck can turn off all lights and return to the safe zone.
Automated Guidance System Complete failure (AGS)
The “Follow-me” Vehicle Operator shall maintain position centered on the appropriate in ground lights and configure the vehicle signalling systems, with RED signal lights ON.
3.3.10 ICEMAN will contact pilot to advise “deicing is completed, aircraft is clean, fluid used for holdover, holdover starts at time and deicing vehicles are safe HOLD position and contact PAD CONTROL on 131.175 for taxi”.
After the above occurs the Follow Me vehicle shall extinguish all signal lights and return to the designated “safe zone”.
NOTE: “Clean” means as per pilot’s specific request for deicing services.
3.3.11 When ready to taxi contact PAD CONTROL and advise e.g., “ABC123 ready to taxi”.
3.3.12 PAD CONTROL will issue exit instructions to CDF exit point (e.g. Ice 5). When signboard displays “EXIT NOW” and green lights, pilot shall taxi as instructed.
CAUTION: DO NOT MOVE AIRCRAFT UNTIL PAD
CONTROL GIVES BOTH VERBAL AND VISUALCLEARANCE.
NOTE: In the event of a complete AGS failure only verbal instructions will be provided.
3.3.13 At exit, hold short and contact Ground (as advised by PAD CONTROL) for further clearance.
CAUTION: All inset guide lights, departing the deicing bays, are ALWAYS on, regardless of taxi instruction
4. DURING SNOW CLEARING OPERA-TIONS
ACFT should prepare to DEP from any RWY (incl RWY 06L/R).
5. TAXI 5.1 RWY 23: Do not enter TWY Q without
specific clearence from ATC. Normal DEP are from TWY H. ACFT requiring full length must notify GND on initial contact.
5.2 RWY 05: During CAT II/III, DEP from H6.
5.3 STANDARD TAXI ROUTES: ROUTE 5: North on A - West on S - North on E - Left on G - Left on H. ROUTE 6: Cross A - South on B - Right on D. ROUTE 23: North on A - East on H. ROUTE 24: Cross A - South on B - East on C.
ACFT shall hold short of all RWYs, unless specifically cleared across by ground control. Hold short instructions require a read back.
6. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURE (ALL RWYS 07-23LT)
6.1 NADP 1 or 2 required.
6.2 SID cancellation does not terminate Noise Abatement Procedure.
