exchanged.Individualcylinderheadswith4valvespercylinderpromotesrepairability
andfueleconomy.
TheengineisequippedwithaScaniadevelopedEngineManagementSystem,EMS,
inordertoensurethecontrolofallaspectsrelatedtoengineperformance.
Theinjectionsystemisbasedonelectronicallycontrolledunitinjectorsthatgiveslow
exhaustemissionswithgoodfueleconomyandahightorque.Forfurtherreductionof
NOxemissionstheenginesarealsoequippedwithanexhaustgasrecirculation,EGR,
systemdevelopedbyScania.Theenginecanbefittedwithmanyaccessoriessuchas
aircleaners,radiatorsandPTOsinordertosuitavarietyofinstallations.
