FCGA Special Edition The ClubFACE – 2018 Gala Dinner and Awards Night
1
Dear FCGA Members, Friends of FCGA,
Sponsors and Supporters.
It is my privilege and honour as the
President of FCGA to give you the final
updates, progress and activities for the 5th
year of FCGA’s presence. The Gala Dinner
and awards night was a fantastic platform
to celebrate our member’s achievements and
the club’s achievements and believe me, we
just did that.
This association was formed on the 8
January 2014 and I feel proud to say that
as an organisation we have flourished in the
last 5 years or the first 5 years and ready
to mature to the next level.
To play golf, we really do not need a golfing
association. We just need few friends
around you, you can enjoy Golf and that’s
what we were doing. When a handful of
people decided to form a club, it was not for
just playing golf. What could we achieve
more with this wonderful game of Golf was
our main focus.
And to tell you, we have done a lot more
than just swing at the balls on the golf
course.
To name few things, in last 5 years, being
a sporting organisation, we have donated
close to $20,000 to Charity in last 5 years.

We have represented FCGA in many social
and golfing events locally, interstate and
overseas. We have held community events.
Promoted and supported business. This club
has representation up to the State Level of
Golf. Built Leaders and Leaderships
amongst members. Members have learnt
and learning about discipline in areas such
as time management, punctuality,
honesty, dedication, commitment, Values,
respect and presentation. In Past
newsletters, you must have seen how FCGA
represents itself in general public and in our
own competitions.
Now Friends, these were not co incidence.
In 2014, when we formed this association,
we had some 6 months short term goals for,
1-year Mid-term Goals, for and then we had
some 5-year long term goal. I can confirm
that we have achieved all the goals we set
and quite easily more than that. All the
information I gave earlier, has been part of
FCGA’s goals and vision. And to the Club
members, credit, we have achieved all these
as a group
Please do not think as I am bragging about
what we have achieved. I treat you all as
friends of FCGA and are excited to share our
achievements, goals and visions, making
you realise that you all either directly or
indirectly helped FCGA achieve its success.
We do not regard ourselves as just any golf
club. We want to be a club which gives
justice to the code. Golf is an elite sport and
we want to keep its status to its level. We do
not do anything for the sake of doing it. If
FCGA has its 100% commitment to it, we
will do it or we won’t entertain the idea.
Whatever we have done or want to do, these
would never have been possible without the
support of you all. The supporters and
sponsors are the key to our achievement and
success.
I would like to thank you all for the support
you have given. Your support will guide us
to next level. All the supporters, Sponsors,
Admin Kitty, (who has played the major
part in getting our club know around the
golfing world), players and non-playing
members of FCGA and the leadership group,
Thank you all. Without you we would have
never achieved what we have. You have heard
about a lot of things we have done in the
past.
But, it’s all about the future now.
What we achieve in the future will depend
on the focus we create and mentality we
attain. This club is all about “us not me”.
Anyone who wants to enjoy the ride with
FCGA has to have a “It’s about us”
mentality. Not “it’s about me” mentality.
The “it’s about us” members have always
risen in and for this club. FCGA will
welcome each and everyone who wants to be
part of our journey and I assure you will
have a wonderful time with us.
For now, please enjoy the read of FCGA’s
ClubFACE. You will surely find all the
results and achievements of members in
here. I do not want to name them in this
page as Admin Kitty has done a great job
on it.
