NEW DELHI, Aug 2:

Seeking to negate the twoSupreme Court verdicts on law-makers, one of which disqualifiesMPs and MLAs from the House

immediately upon their convic-tion, government may approachthe apex court for a review andalso go for a “legislative remedy”by amending the current laws.

Law Minister Kapil Sibal

today said the government willdiscuss and decide in the comingdays on the two verdicts.

“We could go back to theSupreme Court saying you ignoredcertain aspects,” he told reporters.

In reply to a question, he saidthe government could also seeka “legislative remedy” by appro-aching Parliament.It meansbringing an amendment bill inParliament.(PTI)
