"We believe that parental involvement is very important in educational success. Our success lies within triad of teacher, parent, students. Home visits are a unique opportunity for real two-way communication between home and school.
They acquaint the teacher with a child's family and culture, and provide a familiar setting for listening to parents' concerns and recognizing their contributions to the home-school partnership.

This report provides information about the per formance o f our 2011
graduating seniors who
took the ACT as sophomores, j u n i o r s , o r
seniors; and self-reported at the time
of testing that they were scheduled to graduate in 2011 and tested under standard time conditions. We measure our students' performance in the context of college readiness measures. The focus should be on the number and percentage of students meeting or exceeding ACT's College Readiness Benchmark Scores, a mea-sure that is much more meaningful and understandable than an average com-posite score for a group of students.

LISA Academy's mission is to prepare students for college. To help with the college admissions process,
LISA offers individual counseling, group study, practice tests, and
access to online ACT Practice questions. The College Guidance Office at
LISA Academy recognizes the vast diversity in students. The college counseling program is firmly grounded in the belief
that discovering good matches between students and post-secondary institutions is what the college admissions process is all about. Every year,
college admissions representatives visit the high school. They meet with students and parents to discuss admission requirements, course offerings and financial aid offered through the college. They bring with them first-
hand information about their institutions, as well as connect with LISA students in person.
COLLEGE GUIDANCE
In 2009, college bound seniors from LISA Academy graduated with 100% college acceptance rate. Since then, LISA Academy has had a 100% college acceptance rate and 0% drop outs. As of May, 2011, every LISA senior is accepted by college or university and will have the right start for a long life waiting for them. LISA Academy closely monitors its high school students' college readiness. The school database helps counselors track students' test scores, interests, applications, and scholarship applications.
