How to Make Withdrawal
To apply for EPF education withdrawal, you need to complete relevant applicationforms provided by the EPF. The completed forms, together with the required
supporting documents, can be submitted either over the counter or by mail.
It is important that you fill up the right forms correctly and make sure that all yoursupporting documents are supplied and in order. This is to avoid unnecessary delays
in processing your application, if not rejected all together.
Please take note that thumbprint impressions are required for the application formand MyKad photocopy. You must use the thumbprint pad that is specifically meant
for making thumbprint impressions. Use of other types of materials such as the
inkpad for rubber stamps is not acceptable by the EPF.
If there are differences in details of your records, you may submit the following
supporting documents:
Birth certificate, if the difference is in your stated birth date; and
Certification letter from the National Registration Department.

1. Form KWSP 9H (AHL). Appendix 12. (a) Public Identification Card/ Malaysian Identification Card
(myKAD)/ Military Identification Card/ Permanent ResidentIdentification Card (myPR)ORPolice Identification Card affixed with your right and leftthumbprints on its copy and a letter from your employer confirmingthat your police number and Identification Card number refer tothe same person.
(b) A passport if you are a Non-Malaysian citizen who hasbecome an EPF member before August 1998.

3. Course/ Study Offer Letter
To be providedby EP4. Students Enrollment Confirmation Letter
To follow the format provided by the EPF, except for theoverseas institute of higher learning.
The date of the letter does not exceed 6 months from the datethe withdrawal application is received.

5. Recognition or Accreditation Letter for Course
The public institutes of higher learning AND privateinstitutes of higher learning which already have university /university college / overseas branch campus status whichhave been listed by the EPFare exempted.
(a) Academic OR Professional CoursesA valid approval letter to conduct stipulate course issued bythe Department of Higher Education, Ministry of HigherEducation or Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA);
(b) Professional OR Skill-based CoursesCourse recognition letter as issued by the Training Division,Public Services Department (PSD) OR any Professional Bodyrecognized by the government to be equivalent with Diplomaor better.
(c) Vocational CoursesCourse accreditation letter as issued by the Department ofSkills Development, Ministry of Human Resources andrecognized to be equivalent to a Diploma (level 4) OR aBachelors Degree (level 5).
6. Copy of the latest examination result (students of public institutesof higher learning are exempted).
For local and overseas private institutes of higher learningstudents who are at least in their second semester / secondyear of study.
7. Proof of Qualification according to allowed education levelsCertificate of academic qualifications according to education levelssuch as:(a) Diploma and Bachelors Degree Level

SPM results are with less than 3 credits as required byDepartment of Higher Education, Ministry of HigherEducation
(a) Confirmation letter from institutes of higher learning regardingstudents terms of enrollment;AND
(b)Any other academic qualification paper that can support theapplication (if any)

8. Interview form (interview session with the student which will beconducted by an EPF officer who will complete this form)
For overseas private institutes of higher learningstudents only
Exemptionon subsequent application if the student isstill studying the same course and in the same institutes of
higher learning.
