The E-Regulars are a reggae/rock band originating from Clayton, California. The band was formed in

2013 by singer/tenor saxophonist Max Susanto, guitarist Kevin Tan, guitarist/bassist Zach Pachella, guitar-

ist/bassist Jordan Price and drummer Matt Risso. The band spent months jamming and developing their

versatile sound, combining elements of classic and punk rock, ska, and funk, all seamlessly bound together

by the band’s reggae influence. When the band received their first show opportunity, opening for the late

Mic Gillette and his band, they were inspired to solidify their jam sessions into fully developed songs and

to come up with a name that expressed both the diversity of their music and its fun, free-spirited, energetic

attitude – The E-Regulars.

The group has since played all across the San Francisco Bay Area, from Oakland as far as Sonoma

and Fresno. The band released their first self-titled album in summer 2014 and are planning to release a

follow-up EP in the summer of 2016. The group has also begun a close collaboration with singer/

songwriter John Speros while continuing to refine their sound of soulful saxophone, groovy bass, funky

guitars and rocking drums. The band continues to live their goal of writing music they love, connecting

with people and bringing positive energy into their lives.
