fine art
The beauty of fine art differs from other art forms because it is more conceptual in nature. Instead of portraying a particular story or scene, it is left up to the viewer to decide its purpose.
Capturing a fine art image sometimes includes stepping outside of the box, getting close up and personal, or using a more creative editing composition.
“The desire to create is one of the most deepest
yearnings of the human soul.” - Dieter F. Uchtdorf
portraitsThere is something very different about capturing moments that represent critical stages in people’s lives. At these occasions, a camera lens then becomes a tool to record these memories, so that they can stand the test of time. I don’t believe there is any coincidence in that.
the faces of bannackSpending the day with these cowboys was definitely one for the books. I loved how excited they were about the small ghost town in Montana they called home. It’s funny how a camera can turn strangers into friends.
themeThe themed images happened to be one of my favorite projects. I love so many aspects of visual art, so combining design and photography was really something that inspired me. It was so powerful to see the difference it made to the image, when text was added.
Finding the right fonts to use in a design requires a lot of attention to detail, and practice. Its a lot like finding the right shoes to go with the perfect dress. Color, size, shape and fit are all parts of the equation.

creativityI believe that it takes courage to be creative. With just one step out of your comfort zone, you could realize a new world of beauty and simplicity. Sure, it takes time and experience to produce the perfect design, or to capture the perfect moment. However, its the process that enables us to understand the innovative genius within us. If we choose to glory in learning, I’m sure that we will always exceed our expectations.
