FEATS is an online feedbackportfolio designed by students atthe University of Surrey.

The portfolio sits within the VLE,and has three aims:

1. To enable students to collatefeedback from multipleassignments in one place, and tosynthesise common messages fromformal assessments, formativeassessments, peer assessment andself-evaluation.

2. To provide a bank of resources todirect students to tools that canhelp them to implement feedback, and develop their skills.

3. To support action-planning andtracking of progress on the basis ofimplementing feedback.

In Part A, students complete'feedback reviews', whichsupport positive engagementwith feedback. Studentssummarise things they didwell, and areas forimprovement from eachassessment opportunity.

By classifying these areas intocommon academic skills, students can build a picture oftheir strengths and areas fordevelopment across multipleassessments.
