Angela Mei I absolutely love the song “Don’t Stop Believin’” ! It’s such an upbeat and happy song!
Journey That’s exactly what we were going for! Something that started off slow and then picked up the tempo in the climax.
Angela Mei That makes it a great song to dance along with. I have a question though; the lyrics, “Strangers waiting/Up and down the boulevard/Their shadows searching in the night” also confused me. What does that mean?
Journey Well, the song in general portrays two “lonely” people in the night meeting. That long of the song was to symbolize that there are people everywhere on the street (or in bigger meaning, the world) and they’re waiting to be found by the perfect person.
Angela Mei Seriously!? You guys putting that song into perspective for me makes me love the song even more. What makes it stand out to me is the sound. It starts off quite softly, gets louder, then fades into nothing at the end.
Journey Glad you enjoy it so much! It’s one of our most famous songs out there!
Angela Mei I’m not surprised; my friends sing this all day every day. Nice talking to you guys!!

Reasoning
Don’t Stop Believin’ Any Way You Want It
The reason I chose the band Journey is because the only song I knew well by them is “Don’t Stop Believin’”. That song is a favorite of mine, but I wanted to learn more about this band’s background, and music.
