Biblical love is like a many-faceted
diamond. Some of the facets that are
described in Scripture include:
From 1 Corinthians 13:
1.) Love is charity – v.4 – the giv-
ing of one’s self or one’s possessions
with no expectation of anything in
return
2.) Love is suffering –v.4 – as God
suffers with us for a long time.
3.) Love is kindness – v. 4 – God is
kind to the unthankful and evil.
Our nursery & children’s classes resume today. Please note that
we are not requiring face masks, taking temperatures, enforcing
social distance limits, etc. If you have any apprehension about this,
please continue to keep your children in the church service with
you. For the younger attenders, remember that the crying room in
the back of the auditorium is also available with a monitor so you
can continue to watch the service.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

“The Bible is worth all the other
books which have ever been print-
ed.” – Patrick Henry, Revolutionary
Leader and Orator
“In all my perplexities and dis-
tresses, the Bible has never failed to
give me light and strength”
– Robert E. Lee, General of the
Confederate Army
“The word of God tends to make
large-minded, noble-hearted men.”
– Henry Ward Beecher, Clergyman
and Abolitionist
“The Bible is a window in this
prison-world, through which we
may look into eternity.”
– Timothy Dwight, President of
Yale university
“Unless we form the habit of going
to the Bible in bright moments as
well as in trouble, we cannot fully
respond to its consolations because
we lack equilibrium between light
and darkness.” – Helen Keller,
Writer and Social Reformer
“But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.”
There was love in that utterance, and so far it was commendable. But there
was also much self-trust in it. And there was great presumption, for Peter
dared even to contradict his Master to his face; and, at the same time, he
contradicted the inspired Scripture, for Jesus had told the disciples that it
was written that the sheep would be scattered. Yet Peter boldly denied both
what God had written and what Christ had said. God save us from such a
proud self-confident spirit as that!
